Beesil Yeonkkot Village (Beesil Lotus Village)

Enjoy the fantastic scenery of lotus flowers covering the surface of fourteen hectares of ponds. The ecosystem of the village was restored by growing lotus flowers. The village has been developing products made from lotus which is good as a souvenir.

Daeam Chorok Village

Daeam Chorok Village which boasts outstanding natural scenery was chosen as Information Network Village in 2008 and Resort Town in 2012. It continues to upkeep the culture of a farm village by offering various hands-on activities and cultural activities, including Making Home-made Tofu, Ceramics, Natural Dye Workshop, Theme Experience School, Saturday Culture Class, and Camping. In particular, eco-friendly agricultural products from Jiphyeonsan Mountain, including strawberry, pear, chili pepper, and melon are beloved by visitors. Nearby tourist attractions include Jinjuseong Fortress, famous for Nongae and Chokseongnu Pavillion, the Bronze Age Musuem of Art & Culture, the Jinju Namgang Yudeung Festival, an international cultural festival hosted every October, Gaecheon Art Festival and many more.

Dodong Pulbeolle Village

Gamoegol Village

The old name of Gamoegol Village was Taedong or Gwanjeom. The name was given because there were many storks gathered around the front and back of the pine forest mountain; the name also adds flavor to the town. From the distant past, the town has been well-known as a great place to live as it creates a perfect balance with nature and humans.

Naechon Lake Village

From the distant past, this spot has had clear water in the valleys and large fields and was called Handeul or Keuni because of its abundant grains and fruits. The valley is in the shape of a scholar reading, and there is a story that Du Fu, a Chinese poet of the Tang Dynasty, came here and became a virtuous man. Before Jingyangho Lake was submerged, the village consisted of Anmal, Madangjae, Jokjeong, and Deulteo, but due to the worship of the Namgang Dam, the new town was built. It is a clean residential area with a wonderful natural environment located 20km away from downtown Jinju. This farming village has great tourism resources and roads running in all directions, such as the Jinyangho Lake Beltway. Naechon Lake Village is surrounded by beautiful scenery and there are many cultural heritage sites in close vicinity – the Bronze Age Museum, Water Museum managed by the Korea Water Resources Corporation, Jinyangho Lake, and Chokseongnu Pavillion. The village operates its own programs such as the Cosmos Festival (The 2nd) and Making of Natural Soap Contest. The village is visited by many urban residents and it is a beautiful place to observe a complete view of Jinyangho Lake.
