Gujaebong plum Jungseo Village

Our village has over 35 farm houses with a population of 70, just like one big family always looking out for one another. With our eco-friendly farming methods, we grow Japanese Apricots, wild green tea, bracken, chwinamul, mushrooms, blueberries and more. One of our special characteristics is that our village does not have any gates, and being in the mountainous district, it brings fresh air and fresh water. Come visit cozy "Jungseo Village" where you can experience many activities in an eco-friendly natural environment - Hiking in the Gujaebong Natural Recreation Forest, Green Tea Picking and Roasting, Making Enzyme, Blueberry Picking, and an Ecology Tour.

Ipseok Village

The village has ancient origins, formerly called Nangnoguk during the Byeonhan Era. Originally, it was called Seondol in the Jinjumok Agyang-hyeon region, then it was transferred to Hadong District in King Sukjong for 28 years and was named Ipseok, then adding Hadeok which once was included in Hwagae-myeon when reorganizing administrative districts in 1014. Now, it is the oldest town in Agyang-myeon. This region is known for clean air arriving from the slopes of Jirisan Mountain and clean water from the Seomjingang River. It is more known for Daebong persimmon, which was recognized as a gift for the King and high-quality local products produced in the fertile land nicknamed the 'Golden Field', such as rice, Japanese apricot, chwinamul, sweet persimmon, chestnut, and green tea.

Ipseok Village

The name Ipseok means ‘an erected stone’. Make a visit to Choe Champandaek where ‘The Land’ written by Park Kyung-ni, one of the most powerful women authors, is set in. The beautiful surroundings including Seomjingang River, Pyeongsari Park, and Mudimideul Field will delight you.

Jeongtium Village

The blessed village has crystal clear Deokcheongang River winding through the village. It offers various programs including character education, traditional rural dishes, picking strawberries.

Jikjeon Village

From the ancient past, Jikjeon Village was geographically located where samjae could not reach and completely surrounded by mountains, from the range of Jirisan, Cheonwangsan, Chailbong, Guksabong Peak, Maansan, to Imyeongsan. Therefore, in the summer it served as a windbreak for typhoons, and its geographical features of the mountain, abundant water and fertile soil, allows for the growth of various and high-quality grain and produce (buckwheat, potato, sweet potato, corn, etc). In September and October, the Cosmos and Buckwheat Flower Festival is a great experience that brings all the visitors from the city and farming village together. We invite you to this humble and generous town.

Moam Village

Stream running down from Yeongsinbong Peak allures plenty of visitors. Green tea fields and roadside trees make fascinating scenery of the village. Make a visit to the green tea factory and take part in the manufacturing process.

Myeongsa Village

It is a typical mountainous village that has clear stream and produces forestry products such as shiitake mushroom, bracken, and Chwinamul. Refresh yourself in well preserved nature.

Pyeongsadre Village

It has plenty of attractions such as Choe Champandaek, Pyeongsa-ri plain field, and Bubusong Pine trees which 'The Land' written by Park Kyung-ni, one of the most powerful women authors, is set in. This village is designated as Slow City. Enjoy relaxing time with locally grown tea.

Uisin Bear Village

It is a beautiful and clean village located at the foot of Jirisan. Regional specialties are wild edible greens, medicinal herbs, pine mushroom, and painted maple sap. They offer various experience curriculums at their Asiatic Black Bear Ethology Learning Center and Wild Flower Learning Center.
